Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Oxford Star Movers is a licensed moving company in Dubai. We also offer insurance options to protect your belongings during the move upon request.
Do you operate only in Dubai?
While we are based in Dubai, we offer services across the entire UAE, including Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, and also provide international cargo services.
Booking & Quotes
How can I get a quote?
You can fill out the form on our Get a Quote page, call us directly, or message us on WhatsApp. Just share basic move details, and we’ll send you a free, no-obligation estimate.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. We believe in transparent pricing. All quotes are based on the size of your move, packing needs, distance, and any special handling requirements.
How far in advance should I book my move?
It’s best to book at least 3–5 days in advance, especially for weekends or peak times. However, we also handle same-day and emergency moves when available.
Packing & Moving Day
Do you provide packing materials?
Yes. We supply high-quality packing materials, including boxes, tapes, bubble wrap, and furniture blankets. Everything is included in your quote unless you prefer to pack yourself.
Can you handle fragile or large items?
Absolutely. We are experienced in moving:

Will you unpack and set up everything?
Yes. If you choose our unpacking service, we will:

Yes, our team is trained in safe dismantling and reassembly of beds, wardrobes, cabinets, and modular furniture.

Yes, we move items like washing machines, fridges, ovens, and air conditioners. Please let us know in advance for proper handling.
Do you install curtains, TVs, or wall fixtures?
Yes, we provide curtains fixing and basic wall mounting services. For more complex tasks, our handyman team can assist.

Do you offer storage facilities?
Yes, we provide short-term and long-term storage in secure, clean, and climate-controlled facilities across Dubai.
Can you help with international moves?
Yes, we offer international cargo services to many countries including India, the UK, Canada, and GCC nations. We handle packing, customs, and documentation.
Safety & Insurance
Is my move insured?
We take every precaution, but insurance is available upon request and can be added to your quote.
What if something gets damaged?
In the rare event of damage, we will assess it and offer compensation or repair in accordance with your service agreement or insurance coverage.

Can I reschedule or cancel my move?
